Pianist Stefanie Watson performs with state and regional honor choruses in New Jersey, school choirs of every age, and with the choirs of Lehigh University, Princeton Girlchoir, and The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). She has served as rehearsal pianist for the Princeton Festival’s opera productions and for a Carnegie Hall performance of Robert Schumann’s Requiem, Op. 148. Stefanie also has been a keyboardist in instrumental ensembles, including the Eastern Wind Symphony, with whom she performed at the International Trumpet Guild conference and played celeste on their 2018 album Elements. Stefanie is the Administrative Manager for and participates in the Chamber Music Conference and Composers’ Forum of the East.

During the academic year, Stefanie can be found at The College of New Jersey working as a staff pianist and teaching group keyboard classes for non-music majors, and as a staff pianist at Lehigh University.

Stefanie has taught piano privately for 20 years and is Director of Music Ministry at Alexandria First Presbyterian Church in Milford, NJ. She holds a Masters degree in Collaborative Piano from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts and a Bachelors in Piano Performance from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with a minor in Spanish. Stefanie also serves as coordinator for New Jersey Fibershed’s Harvest Initiative, a communal garden project for growing fiber and natural dye plants.
